We provide a relaxed and personal approach whilst capturing the spirit and emotions of your whole wedding day with beautiful contemporary and natural reportage wedding photography. We are though more than willing to combine a mixture of styles and inject some fun and quirkiness into your day.

“We looked at a lot of options for our wedding photographer before choosing indigo Photography; we were not only looking for somebody who could provide a blend of strong traditional and reportage shots, we were looking for some of our photos to be slightly more unusual and needed a photographer who could help us make this happen. From our initial consultation they helped us understand what would and wouldn’t work, and with their creative input we agreed the photos we were aiming for. I especially appreciated their planning, preparation and organisation before the wedding – they were very professional and this gave us complete confidence in the run up to the big day. On the wedding day they were very unobtrusive but great fun too – helping us get the best shots and have a laugh while doing so. The photos are simply stunning, with a perfect mix of traditional, unusual and journalistic shots. They were calm and relaxed throughout the day and despite having to deal with some challenging situations (a tiny dark church, rapidly fading light & us running two hours behind schedule) they captured everything we wanted and more. We would recommend indigo to anybody looking for a photographer, and we will be booking them again for a trash the dress shoot very soon. “Thank you so much Tony and Andrea for capturing our special day. We are so pleased we visited the wedding fayre at Newcastle Civic Centre last year. As soon as we started talking to them and looking at all their gorgeous photos we knew they would be the perfect photographers for our Wedding day. We loved the idea of doing the pre-wedding photo shoot, including some shots at our wedding rehearsal. It was a lovely way to start the wedding build up and you both put us at ease ready for the big day. We were looking for someone who would capture the relaxed and fun atmosphere that we were aiming for on the day and Tony and Andrea did just that. They were very professional and not obtrusive at all – guests barely noticed they were there yet we still got some amazing photos. They had some brilliant ideas for shots with guitars, band equipment and at one point there was even some random photo bombing from a mad goose! We can't express how fantastic Tony and Andrea were at capturing every aspect, vibe and moment of our wedding day. Having our photos taken professionally initially made me and my husband feel a little uneasy, but Tony and Andrea sorted our pre shoot which turned out to be a lot of fun! They were both so lovely and friendly that within seconds our nerves were gone and we had a lot of laughs! Shortly after the preshoot we were sent beautiful copies of the photos which showed they had completely taken into account the style of photos we wanted without us even having to ask! On our wedding day, we barely even noticed they were there, yet they captured every single moment from start to finish beautifully. It was such a pleasure to have such amazing photographers and lovely people to play such a big part in our wedding day and I would recommend them to anyone! They are incredibly professional, talented and kind and made a fantastic job of our photos which arrived quickly after our wedding. They were perfect!
